Final theses
We will be happy to supervise you in the preparation of your final theses for Bachelor's and Master's degrees and as part of your doctoral studies.
For Bachelor's theses, you will receive relevant information in the relevant courses of the SBWLs „Finance“ and „Financial Intermediation“.
The Bachelor’s Course should be attended while you are writing your bachelor’s thesis. It will provide you with the relevant competencies, which you can directly apply to studying your research question.
During the Bachelor’s Course, you will present your topic and receive feedback for your thesis.

- Complete your presentations in the Bachelor’s Course
- Finalize your thesis
For Master's theses, we invite you to discuss your ideas in the areas of financial intermediation, investments or corporate finance with us, or you can choose from the list of available topics on our current research focus areas.
Open topics for Master's theses:
Topics are discussed during the office hours of Professors Mestel/Palan/Schertler/Theissen. In the Master's seminar, we will give you an introduction to the topic of scientific work and discuss with you the new insights you gain in the course of your thesis.
Before you start writing your Master's thesis, we recommend that you study our guidelines for writing academic papers (see below).
